This presentation will provide the participant with an overview of current psychiatric medication treatments for a variety of mental health concerns including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and personality disorders.

This two-day intensive National Social Work Exam Preparatory Seminar is open to Social Workers preparing for the BSW, MSW, LCSW or LISW Examinations. The Seminar will assist participants understanding and aggressively use time proven multiple choice exam taking strategies, tactics and techniques.
March 5, 9am-5pm
The class meets the social work supervision requirements in the state of New Mexico. Main concepts covered will include theories of supervision, applied supervision principles, ethics in supervision, as well as what you need to know to provide supervision legally in NM. You will also create your own supervision and leadership style as part of this class.

Student Legislative Advocacy Day is an all day event for New Mexico social work students. NASW-NM recognizes the need for social workers to get involved in the legislative process and to promote social justice for ourselves and others. SLAD offers social work students an opportunity to learn how to be a part of this process and apply this learning during the legislative session.
